Chloe and Evan saga in Holby City to take this SHOCK twist

When her manipulative husband Evan gets into her flat, Holby City's Chloe Godard suffers a panic attack, as Amy Lennox reveals...

Chloe Godard has been going to great lengths to avoid her intimidating husband Evan Crowhurst in Holby City. Unfortunately for Chloe, though, Evan’s soon back on the scene, next week, when his sister Phoebe is admitted to the hospital.

Phoebe (Daisy Wood-Davis) has a serious heart condition but refuses to let Chloe treat her after the way she’s “upset” her brother. Chloe manages to talk her round but she’s clearly rattled when Phoebe calls Evan to come to the hospital for support.

Holby Chloe Kian

Chloe (Amy Lennox) is thrown when Evan’s sister Phoebe arrives at Holby in desperate need of treatment…

Evan (Jack Ryder) knows it’s awkward him being there and, when he tells Phoebe he thinks it’s best he keeps his distance, Phoebe pleads with Chloe to hear Evan out.

Chloe briefly softens towards Evan but when Chloe’s mum Ange sees them talking, she’s furious and wants Evan gone!

But Evan’s not one to take no for an answer and, later, he pushes his way into Chloe’s flat when she’s there alone to try and talk to her. When Nicky and fellow flatmate Cameron return home and see Evan there, they order him to get out. When he refuses, Cameron’s forced to call the police!

Jack Ryder plays Evan Crowhurst in Holby City

Evan Crowhurst (Jack Ryder) certainly makes his presence felt when he turns up at Chloe’s flat…

“Cameron was the only one in the beginning who had a gut feeling about what Evan was really like and he’s fiercely protective over Chloe,” says Amy Lennox, who plays her.

Struggling to cope, Chloe’s anxiety issues re-surface and she suffers a major panic attack. Does Chloe need saving from Evan?

“Chloe’s a fighter, not a victim,” says Amy. “She will come out of this eventually. There is light at the end of the tunnel – but this tunnel is very dark and very long.”

Holby City continues Tuesdays at 8pm on BBC1.
