EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has talked about her upcoming reality TV appearance.
The soap star will be appearing in the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, which kicks off tomorrow evening.
And she has now opened up on her upcoming appearance on the ITV hit show, speaking about how she is “scared of everything”.
“I am also scared of everything,” she said to ITV, “especially spiders! They are the worst, there will be tears!”
The actress is best known for playing Lauren Branning in BBC soap EastEnders.
Appearing on the show between 2010 and 2018, the star was part of the Branning family, the eldest daughter of Max (Jake Wood) and Tanya (Jo Joyner).
Over the years the character had some big moments, running over her father Max, dealing with alcoholism and getting engaged to Ben Hardy’s character Peter Beale.
Actress Jacqueline won four soap awards for her role and is now heading down under to take part in the newest series of the Australia-based show.
Speaking about her upcoming stint, the soap star, who is married to former The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Osborne, revealed how she thinks she will come across to other contestants and to the general public.
“I think people think I am a pushover or a doormat,” she said to ITV. “I also think some people pity me.
“I want to show I am fine,” she added. “I am up for a laugh and that I will go for it and try my best.”
The actress also spoke about what she hopes will happen next for her in her career, continuing, “If doing this programme opens doors for me then that would be so exciting.
“There are loads of things I would love to do, both acting and presenting.”
