It seems nothing gets past Emmerdale fans after they spot someone very familiar in the village...
Emmerdale residents are still in mourning following the tragic factory fire that claimed the life of Frank Clayton last week, but while fans were left heartbroken at Frank’s untimely demise, it hasn’t stopped them spotting someone familiar arrive in the village.
As Tracy and Vanessa struggle to come to terms with what happened to their dad, the Sharma family are trying to work out exactly how their business went up in smoke.
And as the police piece together the evidence from the factory wreckage, soap fans have realised that the inspector, DI Goldberg, is none other than The Bill star John Bowler, who is better known to TV fans as PC Roger Valentine…
Actor John played the role of PC Valentine for more than 200 episodes between 2004 and 2010, but that’s not the only acting credit John has got to his name.
He was also in Peak Practice from 2000 until 2001 playing the part of Mike Pullen.
Now in Emmerdale, DI Goldberg is set to make it his mission to work out exactly what happened the day the factory went up in flames… and last night he started to point the finger at Tracy.
After it was confirmed by fire investigators that the factory fire was started deliberately and possibly by the CCTV cables sparking, DI Goldberg questioned Tracy again about the fact she was alone in the factory when the fire started.
Emmerdale fans will know that the DI is barking up totally the wrong tree, however later this week the net starts to close in on guilty Kerry when Goldberg arrives to question her.
Will he manage to work out what happened? Or will Kerry manage to convince him she is innocent and pin the blame of someone else?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
