Yashvi Rebecchi is in for a SHOCK on Neighbours when she finds boyfriend Ned Willis in the arms of "friend" Scarlett Brady!
After doing enough meddling to cause Ned Willis (played by Ben Hall) and his girlfriend Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) to take a break from each other on Neighbours (5:30pm, see our TV Guide for full listings), scheming Scarlett Brady (Christie Whelan Browne) wastes no time in stepping-up her mission to get Ned alone and seduce him…
Having seen how Ned likes to rush to the rescue of a damsel-in-distress, such as his other ex-girlfriend Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson), Scarlett lies she is being stalked by her violent ex-boyfriend and he has been sending her threatening text messages.
So with Scarlett’s housemates at Number 32 elsewhere, noble Ned agrees to spend the night there, in case anything happens.
When Ned falls asleep on the sofa, Scarlett seizes her chance to strip off and snuggle-up in unsuspecting Ned’s arms… and makes sure Yashvi catches them “together”!
Elsewhere in Erinsborough, transgender teenager Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) is in mixed emotions after the news Shane Rebecchi (Nicholas Coghlan) has tracked down Mackenzie’s estranged dad, Grant (played by Paul Mecurio, the star of the 90s hit Aussie flick Strictly Ballroom).
But their reunion doesn’t get off to a good start when a defensive Grant states as far as he is concerned, he’ll always think of Mackenzie as his son, Michael.
Still feeling rejected by her dad, Mackenzie flees the scene.
Can Shane, who still blames himself for outing Mackenzie all those years ago, find a way to challenge Grant about his narrow-minded views and encourage dad and daughter to give their relationship another try?
Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5
