Yashvi tries to make things right after accidentally revealing Mackenzie's transgender secret on Neighbours. But is it too little, too late?
Yashvi Rebecchi (played by Olivia Junkeer) feels terrible after accidentally outing her friend Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) as transgender in front of their school classmates on Neighbours.
Yashvi runs after upset Mackenzie and tries to apologise. But it seems the damage is done, especially now that school bully Richie Amblin (Lachlan Millar) knows the truth.
Since Mackenzie was bullied at her last school, will history repeat itself now her secret is out at Erinsborough High School?
Unfortunately, a storm is brewing as a few parents, led by trouble-making Angela Lane, who previously made a fuss about teacher Elly Conway’s previous conduct in the classroom, begin to kick off.
Can headmistress Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) handle the situation, as an emotional Mackenzie considers leaving Erinsborough and giving up the search for her estranged dad?
Elsewhere in Erinsborough, romance is on the cards for Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) and Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards), who are back together again.
However, Chloe’s policeman brother Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) becomes suspicious after Chloe answers a phonecall from Pierce’s ex-fiancee Ebony Buttrose, who demands Pierce start taking responsibility for his actions.
And when Mark later witnesses Pierce seeking advice from Dr Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), he jumps to the startling conclusion Pierce is hiding something from Chloe. Could Pierce have got Ebony pregnant?
Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5
