In Kirstie's Celebrity Craft Masters famous faces are set tough crafting challenges by supercrafter Kirstie Allsopp
Debbie McGee, Natasha Kaplinsky, former EastEnder Ricky Groves and comedian Rufus Hound are among the thirty celebrities unleashing their creativity over the next three weeks as they’re put through their paces by queen of crafts Kirstie Allsopp in Kirstie’s Celebrity Craft Masters.
Each day two different celebs learn everything from marbling to needlework, quilling to crochet, and go head to head in four challenges, before their creations are judged by beady-eyed experts, Polly Macpherson and Piyush Suri.
First up it’s TV presenters Angellica Bell and Rav Wilding who get competitive when tasked with making plant holders and bags.
Kirstie gave TV Times a background briefing: “I didn’t really know what to expect from the celebrity circuit – but everyone who came on was really undemanding, worked hard, took it seriously and did an amazing job. We had a lot of fun.”
And she told us what the celebs make: “Everything from leather bags to plant holders, cushions, picture frames and floral centrepieces.
“There are 15 episodes, so over three weeks you see different people have a go at things from paper-cutting to calligraphy, ceramics, working with concrete, wax, metal, crocheting – You name it, they do it!”
All in all, a fun-packed show with masses of creative tips and inspiration.
