Mercedes McQueen gets ready to escape to Morocco with secret lover Liam and prepares to break the bombshell news to her husband Sylver...
Filled with self-loathing and guilt, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) has come to the decision that her children, Max and Bobby would be better off without her around in Hollyoaks.
So when her secret lover Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) suggests that they jet off to Morocco to start a new life together, she thinks it’s for the best and begins packing her bags.
Liam has bought the pair of them tickets for Marrakesh and Mercedes is on board with the idea however she knows she owes it to her husband, Sylver (David Tag) to come clean and tell him what’s going on.
She braces herself to deliver the bombshell news to Sylver but is floored when he has some news of his own for her!
Mercedes is stopped in her tracks and there’s more trouble coming her way when she accidentally reveals to Grace Black (Tamara Wall) that she’s still having a passionate affair with Liam, Grace’s brother.
Elsewhere Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) and his partner Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) are worried that Ollie doesn’t seem to be bonding with their newborn son, DJ. They have no idea that the real reason is because Ollie is preoccupied after secretly discovering that Darren is NOT baby DJ’s biological father and that the tot’s real dad is Mandy’s ex, Luke, Ollie’s own dad!
The pair pretend an emergency has come up and force Ollie to spend time with little DJ to help them out.
A reluctant Ollie, who’s planning to meet up with his girlfriend Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) brings baby DJ along with him to see Brooke, unaware that she has a very big secret of her own: she’s pregnant with Ollie’s baby!
The teen, who was gearing up to break her baby news to Ollie, is stunned when he turns up with baby DJ and is literally left holding the baby when Ollie dashes off to retrieve DJ’s blanket which he forgot to bring.
Will an overwhelmed Brooke pluck up the courage to tell Ollie she’s expecting a baby of their own?
Meanwhile, Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) visits her son Finn (Keith Rice) again following his release from prison, and tells him that he’s welcome to come and live with her in the village.
However Tony, Diane’s husband, is still searching for his own son, Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool). He decides to hold a BBQ in The Hutch, hoping it will help bring Harry back.
But when serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) who was recently seen MURDERING Harry, hears what Tony has got planned, she starts to panic. As she desperately tries to deter him, will her jittery actions start to arouse suspicion?
