Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) is in shock when killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) tells him she’s letting him go and he’s free to return to his family in Hollyoaks tonight at 6.30pm (See our TV Guide for full listings).
After weeks of being incarcerated by murderer Breda at her pig farm and thinking he would never see his loved ones again, Tony can’t believe what’s happening.
Breda tells him to get into her car but as they approach Chester, disaster strikes as Breda crashes into one of the cranes that has begun work on Cindy Cunningham’s building site.
The accident causes the ground beneath the crane to crack onto the unstable tunnels below. But have both Tony and Breda survived the smash?
Meanwhile Charlie and Ella who have secretly snuck into the tunnels are beneath ground when the brickwork starts to collapse! Are they about to find themselves in terrible danger and trapped?
Elsewhere in the wake the drama at baby DJ’s christening in yesterday’s episode, Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) is struggling and turns to drink.
Plus Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) offers an upset Cleo (Nadine Mulkerrin) advice on how to get the spark back in her relationship with Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams).
Cleo later summons Mitchell home telling him she has a sexy surprise for him but her plans fall very flat when Mitchell doesn’t respond in the way she was hoping for.
A distraught Cleo confronts Mitchell, asking him why he finds her so repulsive leaving Mitchell, who is cheating on her with Scott, racked with guilt.
Later on Mitchell confides in Scott and comes to a big decision. He’s decided he needs to break up with Cleo for good and he’s going to tell her right now!
