Has Tony Hutchinson managed to escape killer Breda McQueen's clutches or will she catch up with him and make him her next victim?
Yesterday’s dramatic episode of Hollyoaks saw Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) desperately scrabble with a sewing needle that serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) had accidentally left behind, to try and pick the lock on the cage he’s trapped in.
Could he have escaped?
It certainly looks that way when Breda returns to the pig farm where she’s been keeping Tony prisoner, only to discover he’s not there! So where is he? And is it only a matter of time before he’s back in Breda’s fearsome clutches?
Elsewhere Jesse Donovan (Luke Jerdy) has been feeling threatened by his older bad boy brother Liam (Jude Monk McGowan) who has suddenly been showing much more interest in his baby Iona, his daughter with Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan)
Jesse feels he needs to show his own commitment to girlfriend Courtney and little Iona, however when talk turns to the idea of him and Courtney tying the knot, he’s suddenly overwhelmed and bolts from the room.
Meanwhile with Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) temporarily helping out at The Hutch in Tony’s absence, he and Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) reminisce about when they decided to go into business together. Luke admits he was stupid to think it would work with him being back in Hollyoaks and back at The Hutch and asks Darren to buy him out of his share of the business.
However Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) who has got her eye on Luke, doesn’t want to risk Luke leaving the village and decides to give him money so he can set up his own restaurant in the old florist! Can alcoholic Luke make a go of a Cindy’s new enterprise?
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
