Diane Hutchinson is shocked to discover her son Finn O'Connor has been desperately trying to reach her. What does Finn, who's been in prison, want?
Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) starts to worry when she keeps getting calls from an unknown number in Hollyoaks.
The persistent person has been ringing her throughout the day. How will Diane react when she discovers it’s her son Finn O’Connor who is about to be released from prison after serving his sentence for raping John Paul McQueen.
Prisoner Finn was most recently seen involved in a violent brawl with his sister Sinead’s rapist Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor), which caused their prison van to crash. While Finn escaped relatively unscathed, Laurie later died from his serious head injuries after trying to kidnap Sinead.
Why has Finn been desperately trying to reach his mum Diane, and will he be looking to start a new life back in the village?
Meanwhile serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) has set her sights on her next victim: Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson).
Breda tells Darren’s other half, Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) that she thinks Darren is a terrible dad. Will Mandy stick up for Darren or will she add fuel to Brenda’s fire and if so, is Darren in terrible danger?
Plus, Sylver McQueen (David Tag) has been worried about Bobby’s recent behaviour. The young lad has been withdrawn and preoccupied and recently wet the bed.
Doctor Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) has offered to see if she can find out what’s troubling him.
A worried Bobby, who recently saw his mum kissing Liam Donovan but has been too scared to confide in anyone, opens up to Misbah and tells her that he thinks his mum is going to abandon him and the family again.
Mercedes overhears the conversation between Bobby and Misbah and is heart-broken to learn her son feels this way. Will it be the catalyst she needs to change her behaviour and finally call off her affair with Liam?
