The third series of Netflix drama GLOW sees Thelma & Louise actor Geena Davis join the cast as Entertainment Manager Sandy Devereaux St Clair
The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are back for a third series of Netflix’s hit comedy-drama, GLOW, and this time they’re in Vegas!
There’s also a glamorous new character on the scene in GLOW, Entertainment Director at the Fan Tan Hotel and Casino, Sandy Devereaux St Clair (what a name!) played by Geena Davis.
‘It was such fun!’ says Geena, 63. ‘I adore that show and all the amazing women on it – behind and in front of the camera!’
‘Having her on the set was amazing,’ says co-star Kate Nash, 32, who plays Rhonda ‘Britannica’ Richardson.
‘We’d all sit together and then Geena Davis would be there, learning how to flip a card or roll dice!’
‘This season feels unlike anything we’ve shot before,’ adds Alison Brie, 36, aka Ruth ‘Zoya the Destroya’ Wilder. ‘All of our characters are trying on different versions of themselves.’
Expect the usual 1980s nostalgia, big hair and laughs as the group try to launch their live show.
