Kerry Wyatt (played by Laura Norton) and her daughter Amy (Natalie Jamieson) have been trying to keep up appearances on Emmerdale, since the fire at the village factory which they may have accidentally started.
During the Wild West Murder Mystery Fundraiser for the local hospital, factory employee Kerry broke into the safe to steal money to help her desperate daughter pay-off a former dodgy associate from her days living in Belfast.
But while destroying the CCTV footage to cover their tracks, the pair accidentally sent sparks flying, which may have started the destructive blaze.
While factory boss Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and his sister Priya (Fiona Wade) have started to suspect their own dad Rishi (Bhasker Patel) and stepmum Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) of arson, guilty Kerry is thrown into a panic when she is called down to the police station for questioning…
