Jay Mitchell is horrified by a face from the past, Whitney Dean's in danger from lying Leo, and Martin Fowler takes desperate measures against Ben Mitchell.
Jay Mitchell is surprised when he gets a no-expenses-spared booking at the funeral parlour in Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders (7.30 pm, see TV Guide for full listings). Unfortunately, the booking means that he can’t have his planned day out with Lola Pearce and her young daughter Lexi Pearce.
When Jay finds out who the funeral is for, however, he is shell-shocked… It’s Terry Bates, the thug who had Jay’s dad Jase Dyer beaten to death! Jay’s employee Callum Highway sees how much Jay hates Terry and he turns to Jay’s adopted brother Ben Mitchell for help, while Lola comforts a shaking Jay.
Whitney Dean is horrified when she discovers her market stall has been vandalised. A scheming Leo gets straight in to offer Whitney some help before starting his first day at Square resident Gray Atkins’ firm. When Whitney’s ex Callum Highway interferes, he’s annoyed that he may spoil his plan to get close to Whitney.
Martin Fowler is in a bad place over Ben Mitchell’s manipulation. He talks to newly reinstated police officer Jack Branning about a ‘friend’ who’s in a spot of bother. When Jack doesn’t give Martin the answer he wants, Martin is frustrated. Concerned that Martin’s up to no good, Jack quizzes Martin’s ex Sonia Fowler but she covers for him.
Also, Kush Kazemi offers to pay for a weekend away for Kat Moon and Jean Slater but his idea doesn’t go to plan.
EastEnders continues on BBC1 on Thursday at 7.30 pm
