In the aftermath of the Baby Josh court case on Doctors, heartbroken parents Theresa and Phil visit the hospital with some news...
Dr Jimmi Clay (played by Adrian Lewis Morgan) and midwife Ruhma Carter (Bharti Patel) do their best to support parents Theresa and Phil Sutton (Ibinabo Jack and Jack Bennett) in the aftermath of the Baby Josh court case on Doctors.
Although the court proceedings are over and the judge gave a verdict, angry protestors outside the hospital still want to have their say. And Jimmi tells Ruhma there is a lot of abuse online about the case.
Theresa and Phil thanks Jimmi and Ruhma for all their support, since their baby son Josh was born prematurely and placed on a life support machine. But now the couple have reached a heartbreaking decision…
Meanwhile, Al Haskey (Ian Midlane) visits his mum Eve (Rachel Bell) and is shocked when he catches her snogging a mystery man, Ray Hopkins (Bruce Alexander)!
After hearing how Eve met Ray at a pottery class a few weeks ago, Al immediately becomes suspicious that Ray is a conman.
But when Al confronts his mum with his suspicions, Eve drops the bombshell that she and Ray are in love. And if Al doesn’t like it, then he can leave!
Elsewhere, Sid Vere (Ashley Rice) tries to help new parents Russell and Laura Wade (Nigely Boyle and Julia Haworth) who are struggling with lack of sleep.
But it’s not because of their baby Daisy May, but rather a noisy neighbour, Ian “Stokesy” Stokes (Tim Treloar) who keeps playing loud music.
With Russell already stressed-out and worried something is wrong with Daisy May, can Sid help before Russell snaps and gets into a heated confrontation with his noisy neighbour?
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
