Daniel Granger is starting to feel unsettled in his relationship with Becky Clarke on Doctors... which leads to a massive argument in public!
Could it be that Daniel Granger (played by Matthew Chambers) is starting to have second thoughts about his relationship with Becky Clarke (Ali Bastian) on Doctors?
Daniel is starting to feel a bit stifled as Becky continues to schedule his every free moment so they can spend as much time together as possible.
She has practically moved into his place and is enjoying playing mum to Joe, who is Daniel’s son with his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh).
It’s all a bit much for Daniel. So when Becky insists it’s time he buys a new TV so they can snuggle-up and have binge-watching sessions together, the couple end up having an almighty bust-up in front of the entire TV shop!
Meanwhile, the time has come for surgery receptionst Valerie Pitman to say goodbye to an old friend.
Valerie’s work colleagues at The Mill have been of divided opinion since she retreated to deal with her grief after tragedy struck this week.
However, after arranging an entire memorial service in just 24 hours, Valerie does her best to involve the surgery staff in proceedings: nurse Ayesha Lee (Laura Rollins) is to read a poem written by Valerie, Dr Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan) is in charge of music for the service, Al Haskey (Ian Midlane) will deliver the eulogy while receptionist Karen Hollins (Jan Pearson) will also read a poem.
Valerie wants the memorial to be every bit as big as the farewell for their colleage Dr Heston Carter, who died last year. Will she get her wish?
Elsewhere in Letherbridge, Zara deals with a patient Jack Dacre (Tony Guilfoyle) who is convinced there’s something seriously wrong with him.
But when Jack fakes passing out to get Zara’s attention, will she find out what is REALLY wrong with him?
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
