Doctors spoilers: Becky Clarke seeks pregnancy advice

When Becky Clarke asks surgery midwife Ruhma Carter for pregnancy advice on Doctors, will Ruhma guess what Becky's secret is?

After dropping her BIG bombshell on boyfriend Daniel Granger (played by Matthew Chambers) at the end of last week’s episodes of Doctors (1:45pm on BBC One, see our TV Guide for full listings), Becky Clarke (Ali Bastian) approaches midwife Ruhma Carter (Bharti Patel) for some pregnancy advice.

Pretending she’s asking for a “friend”, Becky has all kinds of questions for Ruhma.

It doesn’t take long for Ruhma to put two-and-two together. But she plays along and offers Becky some information leaflets.

But how will Becky respond when Ruhma wonders if the “friend” (aka Becky Clarke) planned the pregnancy? And how does the father feel about the situation?

Meanwhile, after sharing the news of Becky’s bombshell with his soon-to-be ex-wife Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh), Daniel has a heart-to-heart with counsellor, Dr Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan).

But Daniel remains vague and can’t quite bring himself to confide in Jimmi what the REAL problem is that’s troubling him. Will Jimmi guess?

Elsewhere, surgery receptionist Karen Hollins (Jan Pearson) isn’t happy about the fact her policeman hubby Rob (Chris Walker) is going on a Taser training course and making jokes about his “high pain threshold”.

Dr Emma Reid (Dido Miles) joins the course too and gives a health and safety presentation.

But Rob quickly realises it’s going to be a very long and challenging day when cocky young copper PC Logan Heath (Danny Bayne) keeps interrupting proceedings and is clearly just waiting for the moment he can get his hands on a loaded Taser.
