Britain’s Best Home Cook

Mary Berry returns to TV as a judge in the new competition Britain's Best Home Cook

If the dizzying array of ingredients on MasterChef leaves you bawling into your beans on toast, then this new show, hosted by Strictly’s Claudia Winkleman, is the cooking contest for you.

Mary Berry returns to our screens as a TV judge, tasting the offerings of 10 ordinary home cooks as they compete to make the best homemade classics, from pasta to burgers!

But that doesn’t make the competition any less nail-biting, particularly as all the contestants must live together, Apprentice-style, under the same roof for the duration of the show – which, even in this week’s first episode, makes for a very emotional elimination round.
