Corrie cast discuss crash stunt: ‘I looked like I’d been viciously attacked’ (VIDEO)

Coronation Street’s minibus crash stunt took weeks to prepare and film and some of the stars suffered to make the scenes as dramatic and realistic as possible.

In fact, Antony Cotton (Sean Tully) revealed he broke a rib while filming. Others, including Kate Ford (Tracy), Kym Marsh (Michelle), Andrew Whyment (Kirk), Katie McGlynn (Sinead), Anthony and Katie Cavanagh (Julie), told What’s on TV about the demands of the scenes and spooking shopkeepers while in their gory make-up.

Kym said: “I forgot and went to the Co-op with my make-up on… I went to my local shop and bloke behind the counter was like [looks horrified]…”

Kate said: “You looked like you’d been viciously attacked!”
