Tess Lamacraft
Writer
Tess has been a journalist for over twenty years and has written, commissioned and edited for some of the UK’s biggest publications including the Daily Mirror where she worked for five years, The Sun and Closer magazine where she was TV Editor for five years before going freelance in 2010.
She’s interviewed countless stars from the small screen including Phillip Schofield (giggly), Brenda Blethyn (adorable) and Michael Portillo (immaculately-attired).
She’s swapped exercise tips with Judge Rinder, hung out in The Rovers with Ken Barlow and been reduced to tears over lunch by her favourite comedian Romesh Ranganathan. Good tears.
She’s an expert on all things soap and in 2017 wrote The World’s Most Brilliant Soap Quiz Book, published by TI Media.
She has never missed an episode of First Dates. Ever.
When not busy writing about TV she loves being a mum, swimming, practicing her DJ skills and eating cake.
